Edit: Congratulations to the Winners!
Well, in anticipation of the Simple Sundress pattern, I am going to giveaway 2 sundresses to say thank you to all the readers out there who have left comments and sent emails encouraging me to keep up with my patterns and expanding my horizons.
The first one is a size 12 months. It’s red and white ginham and has a prussian blue paisley-ish print tie.

The second one is a size 18 months. It’s a khaki voile color with a pink and brown bird toile-ish tie.

The pattern is all sorted. I just need to proof it. I think it will be up and ready by Wednesday night. So, leave a comment (as many times as you like) and on Wednesday night (let’s say 8pm EST), I will pick 2 names at random and announce the winners.
Thanks again for all your kindness and support! I promise that the sundress pattern is even more simple and even faster than the simple kimono…..promise.
Edit: If you leave a comment, be sure to let me know which size you would like….

I love your little dresses. I am so excited that you made a pattern. Like I said before it is hard to find a pattern for these. I loved the kimono and I know I will love this too. You are awesome. I sure hope I win… my little one would be beautiful in one.
Keep up the awesome work.

Ooh YAY! So exciting that the pattern and tutorial are getting close! I’m in Aus so its perfect timing to get one finished by the time summer rolls around. I’ve just finished my first kimono top and will upload an image to the Flickr group as soon as I can get a decent pic.
Thanks again for sharing your lovely designs.

Wahooo! My baby girl is going to look so cute! Thanks for picking me! (maybe I’ll get lucky?) You are so incredibly generous to share you patterns for free. It makes the blogosphere feel more like a community rather than a business… which I feel like it is, so often. Thank you so much! I have no talent whatsoever for pattern making, but I love to sew and I LOVE your simple patterns that don’t take a century to figure out and complete. You are wonderful. Thank you thank you thank you.

Amy – they are both gorgeous! I love this pattern, and Frida would look so cute in either one. I’m having some trouble making up my mind, but if I’m the lucky one, I think I would like the second one, the size 18 months, even if it would mostly fit her next summer. I really like the elegant simplicity of that one – fit for a drummer, don’t you think?
You are such a generous person!

I love both of them and would love either one. I think the 18 month size would be the best though. They make me happy I live in Southern California because we can wear little summer dresses longer here.

Both dresses are beautiful, thank you so much for your patterns (I love the Kimono). Please do not put me up for the giveaway as my wee one won’t were it! His father would kill me, well, almost!
Could I just ask were did you find that “paisley-ish print”? I would love a paisley fabric but I can’t find a nice paisley print, until now!

This is great news. Can’t wait for the pattern. I also have a request for another pattern… your sunhats/bonnets are absolutely adorable… I think a pattern would be wonderful.
If my name is lucky enough to be chosen, I would love the size 18 mth dress.
Thanks for your hard work.
